Holly’s legal practice focuses on special education law, school disciplinary proceedings, and other education matters. She graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2005 cum laude and worked at two highly regarded law firms litigating insurance cases as well as an Oil & Gas services company drafting and negotiating contracts, but her plan was always to start a law firm.
In 2012, Holly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with Down syndrome and discovered a strong passion for helping families of children with special needs navigate the complicated education system and receive services for their children guaranteed under the law.
Holly represents students and their parents in various areas of education law, including civil rights violations, special education issues, and disciplinary issues. She litigates matters at administrative levels and in federal court, including due process hearings, MDR proceedings, disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings, OCR complaints, and civil lawsuits for discrimination.
Holly is admitted to practice law in Texas and in the U.S. Federal Court for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. She enjoys music, hiking, fly fishing, woodworking, yoga, and spending time with her daughters, Evelyn and Georgia.
